New Hampton fell to league foe Northfield Mount Hermon on Saturday, losing 72-61. NMH controlled most of the first half, but a flurry of Husky baskets pulled the home team to within 2 at one point. However, the visiting Hoggers went on a late run to open up a 39-28 at the half. The Huskies stayed within striking distance throughout the second half, finally pulling with four with 3 minutes left. Unfortunately, consecutive possessions resulted in costly turnovers, and a NMH four point play on the other end sealed the game. John Crosby '15 (Baltimore, MD) led the way with 14 points, while Donovan Theme '16 (Providence, RI) added 13. Tyler Lydon '15 (Elisaville, NY) also found double figures with 12, and Eddie Ekiyor '16 (Ottawa, Ontario) netted 10 points and pulled down 8 boards. The Huskies return to action on Wednesday at home against Vermont Academy.
