A member of the Men’s Varsity A Basketball Team,Tyler Lydon ’15 — a 6-foot-9 forward from Pine Plains, New York — averaged a double-double to start the season while also leading the team in blocks. However, Lydon’s contributions go far beyond his performance in games. In practice, Lydon — who already has verbally committed to Syracuse University — is a tireless worker who comes to the court every day ready to give his all and lead by example. He is the first player to hit the floor for loose balls and is always offering positive encouragement to his teammates. Additionally, Lydon strives to get better with every opportunity, taking coaching tips and incorporating them into his game. Leading the Huskies to a 7-3 start to their seasons. Lydon always puts the team before himself.
