Our transformative Academic Support Program (ASP) inspires confidence in students so they are prepared for a future in which they can accomplish anything. Students are paired with faculty tutors to leverage their learning profiles and strengths to achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
The ASP offers 3 levels of support: 1:1 (one-on-one sessions), 1:2 (shared sessions), 1:4 (small-group sessions)

54%
Use ASP to supplement honors-level courses
Roughly one-quarter of the student body takes part in our Academic Support Program. The range of services and personalization offered, make it a perfect fit for any learning style. 54% of these students utilize ASP for support in honors-level courses, such as International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP).
Pillars of Success
Continual Communication
Regular dialogue between our full-time ASP tutors, teaching faculty, athletic coaches, advisors, and house parents through the collaborative learning management system and in-person meetings.
Thoughtful Integration
Sessions are fully integrated into the student's academic schedule and do not overlap with other aspects of life on campus. This integration allows for an uninterrupted student experience.
Program Progression
Students build upon skills each year to ultimately achieve learning success. With a goal of independent learning and self-advocacy, students will transition into college and professional settings with confidence.
A Path for Everyone
There are many different types of students who take advantage of the Academic Support Program. Some are students with diagnosed learning differences needing individualized support as they work towards learning independence. Others are students eager to learn and acquire new skills that will allow them to reach the most challenging levels of education.

That moment it all clicks—when a student uses the skills they've acquired and pairs them with their own abilities to take on a challenge confidently—that is my favorite moment.
