The New Hampton Women’s Basketball program competes in the highest class of the New England Preparatory Athletic Council (NEPSAC), Class AA. This provides players with the opportunity to showcase their skills to college coaches while competing against other top programs in New England. Our program focuses on developing our players, with a strong emphasis of grit and teamwork. We challenge our student-athletes both physically and mentally in preparation for the collegiate level. In addition to our coaching staff, we also utilize our strength and conditioning coach and mindfulness coach. In the fall, we host regular open gym sessions attended by college coaches from DI, DII, and DIII programs.
Players are challenged each day to be their best self, whether that be on the court, in the classroom, or in our community. We believe our student-athletes are more than just basketball players, but young women preparing to become future leaders in our society. On the court, Coach Bavaro stresses the importance of playing hard, playing smart, and playing together.
