New Hampton played Phillips Exeter Academy on Senior Night on Kennedy Field. The game began with Kori McComber, recovering from a knee injury, getting to start and play the ball off the kick-off. Seven minutes into the game, the Huskies earned their first corner kick of the game after building an effective attack. Elizabeth Cho played a beautiful ball into the box that was put home by CeCe Hancock. After scoring, the Huskies seemed to relax and Exeter quickly equalized on a through ball to their speedy striker.
After the half, both teams had quality chances. During the final fifteen minutes of the game, the Huskies pushed forward for the game winner. Eva Hodgson Played a beautiful ball into the path of Cayla Barnes who put her attempt inches wide of the far post. Despite carrying much of the play iate in the game, the Huskies were unable to neet the game winner.
