Exploring the Natural World; NHS Artists Featured in Juried Art Exhibit
Twelve New Hampton School students have work on display at the Plymouth State Juried High School Art Exhibit from February 2-26. The Karl Drerup Art Gallery will host a reception and awards ceremony this Sunday, February 19 from 2-4pm, with an awards ceremony at 2:30.
Twelve New Hampton School students have work on display at the Plymouth State Juried High School Art Exhibit from February 2-26. The Karl Drerup Art Gallery will host a reception and awards ceremony this Sunday, February 19 from 2-4pm, with an awards ceremony at 2:30.
In this exhibit, the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire partners with the Plymouth State University Gallery (KDAG) to welcome high school student artwork. The theme for this year's exhibit was Exploring Environment, and students were asked to engage with and reflect on the natural world through an artistic lens.
In total, 12 New Hampton Students have 14 works on display. Below are the students with works featured in the exhibit:

Two New Hampton School artists received special recognition for their exhibits. Griffen Goldstock ‘19 was awarded Best in Printmaking for his cyanotype print “Wanderlust”, and Sarah Snow '17 received an Honorable Mention for her installation piece "The Light in the Sky".
