The Huskies Tie Deerfield 1-1
The Huskies tied a very competitive and talented Deerfield Academy team 1-1.
Deerfield got on the board early in the first period. The play remained the same throughout the first and second period seeing offensive opportunities from both teams. With 4 minutes left in the game, Lilli Bills found the back of the net to tie the game with the assists going to Kennedy Walker and Casey Chesner. The game went into overtime with both goalies holding strong concluding the game to a tie.
Sophie Hausberger stopped 20 shots. The 212 Award went to Emma Robertson for playing a full 70 minute game and lifting the huskies up with her energy to tie the game against a very good Deerfield team
