Huskies end a winning streak

Hard fought game.
It's always a treat to play Proctor JV as they are tough and push our boys to play their best. After a good win streak the Huskies lost a game either team could have won in any moment.  It was equal play all 80min. Griffin scored both goals for the Huskies as we battled to strong defenders in the middle and a quick midfield. Pedro was again the covering an incredible amount of ground but it just wasn't enough for their three. Riley was an animal on defense in the last quarter and of course our always steady Eli, Tosin, Jake, and Landon playing flat four and not letting much get by. Another small field cramped some of our speed and ability to send long balls, but we powered through with toughness in Quinn, Pedro, Griffin, and Song. Dan was the eyes on the field reporting what was happening and how we could best adjust. Unfortunately the ref ended the game as a penalty happened in the box and didn't grant us our PK, a disappointing way to end without the opportunity to tie the game. We were lucky to have some players for the B team come with us to fill our bench, just in case, and I am grateful to have the option, so thanks to them for their support. We play Proctor again twice so Lets Go Huskies!!
