The Huskies began the second leg of the 2024-25 campaign at Kent's Hill school on Friday evening. The game was decided in the early minutes, as Kent's Hill size and speed were simply too much for the Huskies. An early 10-2 lead ballooned to 20 in the first half, and New Hampton was not able to recover. There were, however, some moments of individual progress. Bruce Fa played well defensively, and the Huskies doubled their point output from 14 in the first half to 33 in the second. The Huskies also welcomed newcomer Ian Monteiro do Amaral from Brazil, who should add guard depth to the team. New Hampton returns home on Saturday looking to avenge a tough loss to a deep and fast Winchendon team.
