Huskies Cruise to Win over Cats
Shannon O'Leary, Elyse Ngenda, and Abby Schrader hit double-figures today with 15, 15, and 11 points respectively. Thalia Pena knocked down a couple of triples, and Casey Stores drove to the hoop well contributing 9 points. Mackensie Mercier had a strong defensive game, grabbing 4 rebounds and playing effective help-side d.
Leading the way in rebounds was Schrader with 7. Stores and Adriana Hernandez were close behind with 6 apiece. Hernandez dished a team-high 5 assists.
This was the second game in two days for the Huskies and all 11 players saw action. New Hampton, now 15-7, will have one day of practice before hosting St. Andrew's on Friday, an important Triple A League re-match.
