Huskies Lose Last Second Heartbreaker

In a back and forth game vs Cushing Academy, the Huskies fell short in dramatic fashion. With less than 10 seconds remaining, Cushing Academy gained possession of the ball and was able to advance it close enough to get a shot off with nearly no time remaining. The shot went in as the buzzer sounded, leaving everyone confused on whether or not it would count. After a long referee huddle, it was decided that the ball had, in fact, been released from the player's stick prior to time running out. The Huskies look forward to beginning their Lakes Region play next week vs Brewster Academy and Kimball Union. Go Huskies!
