Huskies Get Win over Big Red

The New Hampton Women's Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Phillips Exeter Academy and escaped with a hard fought 5-4 victory.  In singles, Alicia Bleicher, Lily Chen and Akbota Yerseit came away with victories as New Hampton headed into doubles tied 3-3. The number 2 doubles pair of Lily Chen and Romily Dent quickly wrapped up a 8-2 victory to give the Huskies a 4-3 match lead.  Number 3 doubles took a hard loss as the match score was then tied up 4-4.  Alicia Bleicher and Akbota Yerseit fought back from 3-6 down to win their match 8-6 and secure the team victory for New Hampton!
