Competing in the White Mountains
New Hampton’s coed ski team is a fun and comprehensive program that teaches all aspects and levels of skiing and competition. The team competes in the Lakes Region Alpine Racing Series and the New England Private School Athletic Conference.
The Lakes Region Alpine Racing Series is comprised of coed teams from surrounding private schools including St Paul’s, Proctor, Holderness, Dublin, Vermont, Brewster, Kimball Union, and Cardigan Mountain. Lakes Region competitions are held for Slalom and Giant Slalom, with the competition level ranging from intermediate to expert. The series is fun and relaxed, and gives New Hampton student athletes a chance to make friends with fellow skiers from other schools and travel to other local ski areas.

Our Facility
Loon Mountain (35 minutes north) serves as our home training facility, and New Hampton School racers keep lockers at the mountain to store their gear. Racers benefit from an excellent coaching staff at an amazing local facility with training under the guidance of New Hampton coaches as well as coaches from the Loon Race Team. We invite all intermediate to expert level skiers to join the team, have fun, and become a better skier.

Giant Slalom at Blackwater
Read MoreThe Huskies hit the slopes at Proctor’s Blackwater Mountain on Wednesday for their first Giant Slalom race of the season. The day provided both beautiful weather and a fun course. Notable performances from Carla de Guzman ’25, Liv Sabin ’27, and Maggie Coulter ‘28 who successfully skied both runs finishing 20th, 22nd, and 24th in the field, respectively. For the men, Adam Rizk ’25 successfully finished both runs with a personal best. The team appreciated support and cheering from parents and Manager, Vale Diaz '26.
