Program Mission and Vision

The New Hampton School Men’s Lacrosse program develops young men with sound moral character, leadership, and an understanding of the value of committing to a cause greater than oneself. Young men will graduate from the New Hampton School Men’s Lacrosse program prepared to compete at the NCAA level and have the skill set to be selfless leaders in all areas of their lives thereafter.

A highly competitive regular season schedule will feature fifteen contests (subject to change) against some of the strongest lacrosse programs in New England. In addition to the Northern New England Lacrosse League rivals, the Huskies will face non-league opponents Rivers School, Phillips Andover, St. Sebastian’s, Phillips Exeter, Pingree School, and St. Paul’s School.

Ryan Henry

Bio
Head Coach

Prior to New Hampton School, Coach Henry served Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL as head lacrosse coach, assistant disciplinarian and mathematics teacher. During his three seasons at Jesuit, the varsity lacrosse program earned an overall record of 46-14 winning two District Championships and appeared in two Regional Finals, an accomplishment the program had never seen. Additionally, three players earned US Lacrosse All American honors. Coach Henry was awarded US Lacrosse Coach of the Year for 2019, upon completing his tenure at the helm of the Jesuit lacrosse program.

Prior to Jesuit, Coach Henry started his teaching and coaching career at Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, NY. He served the lacrosse program as Offensive Coordinator under Nic Bell and also taught mathematics and managed a dormitory. Mr. Henry is from Norwood, MA and graduated from Norwood High School in 2006, before completing a post-graduate year at Kimball Union Academy. From there, he went on to Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH where he majored in mathematics and captained the Hawks in their 2011 campaign.
