Head Coach
Kristin (Blanchette) Tracy is a former collegiate lacrosse coach with over two decades of coaching experience and a 2006 graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
Tracy spent ten years in college coaching. She served as an assistant coach at Brown University from 2006 to 2008 before moving to UMass Amherst, where she played a key role in guiding the Minutewomen to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1983 and an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in 2009. Tracy then took the helm as head coach at Plymouth State University, where she spent seven years and transformed the program.
At Plymouth State, Tracy led the team to the Little East Conference Championship in 2014, the program’s first title since 2006. Under her leadership, the team made its fifth NCAA tournament appearance. Tracy was named Little East Conference Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2015, and she helped many of her players earn Conference Player of the Year honors, Regional and National All-American recognition and set numerous program records. Tracy’s overall coaching record at Plymouth State stands at an impressive 67-28, with a 29-7 conference record.
A four-year starting midfielder for the Division I nationally ranked Wildcats, Tracy was named team captain in her senior year. She earned Regional All-American honors, First Team America East All-Conference Midfielder accolades, and still ranks 9th in all-time points in UNH women’s lacrosse history. In addition to being named to the America East All-Tournament Team in 2006, Tracy also earned America East All-Rookie Team honors in 2003. During her time at UNH, Tracy contributed to the team’s America East Championship victory in 2004, leading them to the NCAA tournament.
Between 2005 and 2007, Tracy was selected to the US Women’s National Development Team, one of only two UNH players to ever receive this distinction. In 2008, she was named to the Ireland National Team and represented Ireland in the 2009 Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in Prague, where the team, in its World Cup debut, finished 5th out of 16 countries, setting a record-breaking performance.
After her college coaching career, Tracy remained deeply involved in lacrosse. She continues to coach with the nationally ranked girls’ club program Laxachusetts and volunteers with Plymouth Youth Lacrosse, where she serves on the Board of Directors. Tracy also founded the NH Hot Shots Touring Team, NH Hot Shots Girls Box Lacrosse, and the boys' travel team, Plymouth Shockwave.
Tracy is also an active coach with the New Balance All-America Lacrosse program, where she works with some of the best high school talent in the country at the All-America Games held in Maryland every summer.
