Huskies go into Break 11-1

New Hampton was able to reschedule an earlier season tilt with Lee Academy. We jumped out to an early lead and used the energy of the home crowd to jump start us. The ball was moving much better on the offensive end which resulted in a lot of quality shots. On the defensive end, Gus Fried made an excellent effort play to win the possession, which set the tone defensively for the rest of the game.

In the second half, the Huskies dictated on the defensive end, forcing turnovers leading to high quality looks at the rim, including a highlight reel dunk from Naz Meyer. Ben Safran, Blake Bastani and Beau Millar led the second unit, creating excellent looks and sharing the ball at a high level.

The Huskies had 4 players in double figures: Naz Meyer (23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals), Jayden Harrington (19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block), Ty Tabales (13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks), and Gus Fried (12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists). Blake Bastani, Mason Blackwood and Keyshuan Tillery all chipped in 8 points a piece.
