On a cold and snowy day, New Hampton suffers an 8-5 loss to KUA.

New Hampton traveled to Piedmont, NH to take on Kimball Union Academy in a Lakes Region League contest.
The Huskies battled back from an early 7-0 lead to eventually lose to KUA by a score of 8-5.  The offense struggled to get going on a cold and snowy day in New Hampshire.

The game saw Dylan Fanale get his first start on the mound as a Husky.  Dylan went 2.0 innings and allowed 3 runs before being relieved.  Griffin Taylor came in relief and threw 4 innings allowing 5 runs while striking out 4 batters.  The New Hampton defense bailed the team out of multiple jams with some great plays in the field.

The offense struggled against the solid KUA pitching and could only muster up 4 hits on the day.  Bodie Bartram continued to swing a good bat hitting the ball hard all day.  The other bright spots were Max Moore and Jackson Marks collecting their first varsity hits as members of the New Hampton Varsity baseball team.

The Huskies look to bounce back with a game on Friday at Gnerre Field against rival Tilton School.  First pitch is slated for 4:30 pm.
