New Hampton hosted the Rams of Tilton School on Friday and came out victorious 13-0.
The Huskies came out firing on all cylinders on Friday against Tilton School at Gnerre Field.  New Hampton scored 13 runs on 11 hits and got solid contributions from multiple players in the lineup in a 13-0 mercy rule victory.

With the Huskies up 1-0 going into the third inning, the bats exploded for a 12-run inning.  Griffin Taylor had a day at the plate going 3-3 with a home-run and 6 runs batted in.  The junior second-baseman hit a 3-run homer to start the scoring in the inning and the Huskies never looked back.  Bodie Bartram and Tanner Keenan continued to swing the bats well.  Bodie went 2-3 on the day and Tanner went 3-3 with 3 singles.

Conor Griffin got the start on the mound for the Huskies and pitched well.  Conor threw 5 complete innings giving up only 2 hits while striking out 5 Tilton batters.  The Husky defense played a clean game behind Griffin.

The Huskies have a quick turn around and travel to Concord on Saturday to play against St. Paul's School in a rematch of last year's Lakes Region League championship game.  First pitch is slated for 2:30 pm.
