Huskies fell to St. Paul's School 11-1 in a Lakes Legion League contest.
New Hampton came out flat and struggled offensively and defensively against a good St. Paul's team.
The Huskies only scored 1-run on 4 total hits throughout the game and ended up losing by the mercy rule 11-1. The St. Paul's pitchers kept the Husky hitters off balance all game and made some exceptional defensive plays early in the game to keep the New Hampton offense in check.
Defensively, the Huskies were flat all game and committed 2 fielding errors as well as a few costly mental mistakes.
New Hampton will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday against Proctor Academy at Gnerre Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
