Huskies Downed at Home in Season Rematch with Deerfield
NEW HAMPTON, NH --
The huskies were back at home for a season rematch with Deerfield Academy. Both teams started strong and physical and the huskies got an early 1-0 lead with a goal Kennedy Walker '25. Goaltender Elizabeth Vincent '27 had an answer for each of the Deerfield chances to keep them off the board heading into the second. Deerfield started the second off strong, tying the game earl on and then eventually scoring a go ahead goal to take a 2-1 lead heading into the third. The huskies came out strong, working hard to find the tying goal. They had their chances the whole period, but just came up short in the final minutes. Tough 2-1 loss.
