Huskies Cruise Past Vermont Academy 7-0
ROCKINGHAM, VT --
The huskies were back on the road on a snowy evening for a Lakes' Region matchup to Vermont to play VA. The huskies came out strong and played a physical, and dominant game in all 3 zones on the ice. The girls had a stellar first period, scoring 5 beautiful goals from Julia Loughlin '25, Kennedy Walker '25, True Thompson '25, Emma MacPherson '27 and Lily Thomas '26. The husky scoring slowed down the rest of the game, only scoring 1 goal in the second and third from KK Michaud-Nolan '25 and Kelsey Baker '26.
Huskies' Goaltender Cara Kuczek '26 had an answer for each of the VA shots to keep them off the board.
