Huskies Bounce Back

The Huskies bounced back vs. Lakes Region rival Holderness. We used the energy from the home crowd to get us going early. As a team, we struggled a little guarding their actions and settled too much offensively.

In the second half, the Huskies used a strong defensive stretch to put the game out of reach. They started finding a groove when putting pressure on the rim. 8 Huskies scored in the second half and we came away with our first home win. Huskies are now 9-1 in their first 10 games on the season.

New Hampton had 3 in double figures: Ty Tabales (14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal), Naz Meyer (13 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal), and Keyshuan Tillery (12 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds). Mason Blackwood and Chad Cook both had 9 points and 6 rebounds, Blake Bastani 9 points (3-6 from 3) and Ben Safran added 2 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 rebound off the bench.
