The Huskies move to 5-1 in AAA with a home victory over South Kent. In the first half, the Huskies had a dominate defensive performance, forcing several tough shots. On the offensive end, the ball was moving freely and we used strong defensive possessions to get us great looks on the other end.
In the second half, it was more of the same during the first portion of the half. As the game went on, we got out of our groove and got a little careless with the ball, and had some defensive breakdowns late. We were able to hold on with a strong defensive stop and clutch free throws late.
The Huskies had 4 players in double figures: Keyshuan Tillery (21 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 1 block), Nasir Meyer (18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 1 block), Chad Cook (12 points, 8 rebounds), Mason Blackwood (11 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block). Jayden Harrington hit 2 big 3's in the first and played a great team defensive game and Will Goode added 8 big points off the bench.
