Huskies improve to 7-1 in league

The Huskies improved to 7-1 in AAA. The first half, we got out to a strong lead (31-5) by playing good defense and executing on the offensive end. Hoosac finished the half on a 23-9 run and closed the gap. Offensively we got sloppy (5 unforced turnovers) and gave up too many clean looks.

In the second half, we regained energy in the ball on the offensive end, and tightened the screws defensively. There were so many contributors on both sides of the ball and we played an unselfish brand of basketball.

We had 5 players in double figures: Mason Blackwood (25 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists), Naz Meyer (19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, 1 assist), Ty Tabales (14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block), Keyshuan Tillery (13 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals) and Gus Fried (10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal)
