Huskies Defeat Vermont on Home Ice
New Hampton School hosted Vermont Academy and beat the scrappy team 4-1.
After a slow start and allowing a goal in the first minute, the Huskies scored four unanswered goals to secure the victory. The goal scorers were Dylan Podergois '26 (assisted by Matthew Homer '26), Luke Gerardi '25 (assisted by Andrew Marcucci '26 and Nate Cohn '25), Brody Merrick '26 (assisted by Jack Mombourquette '25 and Broden Wood '25), and Matthew Homer '26 (assisted by Richard Jenkins '26 and John Micallef '25).
New Hampton goaltender Cole Pouliot-Porter '25 was strong in net to get the win making 21 saves.
