The men's Varsity B program returned to home action after a close loss to Winchendon on Saturday. After a focused film session and practice this week, the team responded with a 71-58 victory over Bradford Christian Academy. The Huskies never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 7-0 lead off of a series of quick buckets by Jackson Flanders and Harry Jenkins. BCA rallied to draw close at 25-22, but New Hampton responded with timely threes by Kieran Sullivan and Sarp Oskan. The defensive effort, while uneven, was enough to keep Bradford at bay in the second half. BCA cut the lead to 10, but it was not enough, and the Huskies rolled in the final minutes to push the lead to 20. New Hampton visits Bradford Christian for the second end of a home and home next Wednesday in Plaistow.
