Huskies Run Away From Hebron

The Varsity B team took the floor Friday night against the visiting Hebron Academy varsity. New Hampton jumped out to an early lead against Hebron's 2-3 zone. The Husky press defense caused some turnovers, and with 3's falling from the outside, New Hampton took a big lead into halftime. In the second half, the Husky defense wavered, and Hebron cut it to as little as 14 before a Jackson Flanders basket sparked a run. Before long, the Huskies were back up 25 and cruised to an 89-63 victory. Leading scorers for New Hampton were Kieran Sullivan, Bruce Fa, Sarp Oskan, and Jackson Flanders.
