Huskies Downed by Brewster in Season Opener
-- WOLFOBORO, NH
In the first game of the year against Brewster, the women’s JV soccer team fought hard but ended up losing 0-5. In the first half, Roxy was a great addition to the defense and really helped protect the goal from Brewster's shots. Olivia Sabin (Liv) and Callie had some amazing passes that got us close to scoring, and Rowena made amazing saves, leaving us down only 0-1 by halftime. In the second half, we started off strong and got a couple shots in, unfortunately none went in but a great effort was put in by the husky forwards. Carla and Roxy both had awesome energy and worked super hard throughout the midfield and defense. The huskies are back at it next Wednesday against Holderness School
