Huskies Lose in Home Opener to Holderness

-- NEW HAMPTON, NH

The girls had a hard fought game, right till the end. The 3-0 score did not reflect the closeness of the game.  Mackensie (goalie) had many amazing saves throughout the game, bailing out the huskies at times. The first half was full of energy, with great support from both the bench and the field. Olivia Sabin '27 (Liv) stood out with her fantastic passes, while Callie, Jocelyn, Helen, and Roxy each took shots on goal, showing our strong offense. On defense, Catie Cyr '28 was solid, and Carla did a great job getting open for the ball. Liv really made a difference at midfielder, getting the ball to the forwards. Valeria Diaz Sanchez (Vale)’s strong throw in set up a great play, followed by a nice pass from Helen to get to the net. It was 0-0 until the 15 minute mark of the second half, when the Huskies defense made some errors resulting in the 3-0 final score. Overall, the team did a great job spreading out, and Jocelyn’s communication was excellent. Great work from everyone! The huskies are back at home on Saturday, hoping for their first win of the season against Brewster in a rematch at home. Overall, the team did a great job spreading out, and Jocelyn’s communication was excellent. Great work from everyone!
