This week’s race at Gunstock Mountain was the second Giant Slalom race for the Huskies. The team performed well with each skier improving on their previous results. Carla de Guzman ’25 and Liv Sabin ’27 were neck and neck finishing 2 tenths of a second apart in their combined score with de Guzman coming out on top. Similarly, Flora Hartmann ‘ 28 and Maggie Coulter ’28 finished almost identical runs with their combined times being only 3 tenths of a second apart (Hartmann came out on top). These results helped the women’s team place 5th out of eight teams. For the men, Alex Zheng ’28 is finding his stride and improved his ranking from last race.
