Tough Loss to KUA on the Road
The Huskies fell 0-18 to a defensively strong KUA team on Wednesday. Julia Loughlin '24, Abby Schrader '27 and Mackenzie Mercier '27 each singled in the contest for the Huskies only 3 hits of the game. Liv Sabin '27 pitched 4 innings, walking just 4 while striking out 6.
The play of the game went to Adriana Hernandez '25 on a back handed stab and rifle to first on a hard hit ground ball to third that prevented KUA from advancing runners in the bottom of the third inning. The young Husky squad is making gains each game in fielding and hitting and look to continue their upward trajectory as they take on Tilton at home on Monday.
