Huskies Fall on the Road to St. Paul's
The Huskies battled through 5 2/3 innings on Saturday but took the loss on the road. Julia Loughlin '24 led the team in batting, going 3 for 3. She also had the sole RBI of the game in the 5th inning when she brought home Luna McCulloch '26 who had just doubled on a fierce line drive to deep left field.
In addition to McCulloch's double, Liv Sabin '27 and Adriana Hernandez '25 each singled in the game for a total of 6 hits for the Huskies. Hernandez also advanced herself to second on a stolen base, but St. Paul's played tough defense and the Huskies were unable to bring her around the bases. Liv Sabin '27 struck out 4 batters on the day while giving up 9 hits. The Huskies have a quick turnaround as they have just one day of rest before heading down to Tilton on Monday afternoon.
