    The New Hampton School Freeski team focuses on slopestyle (jumps and rails) and all-mountain skiing at nearby Loon Mountain four days each week. We start skiing immediately after Thanksgiving vacation, and continue until early March. Weekly competitions will be held at a variety of ski areas in New England, creating excellent opportunities for freeskiers to travel, compete and celebrate this exciting and creative form of skiing.

    Loon Mountain, 35 minutes north of New Hampton, is home to some of the best terrain parks, snowmaking and all-mountain skiing in the northeast. We love to ski mid-week at Loon to train for Lakes Region and New England Freeski/Freeride competitions. Skiers will travel and train as a team, but as in all snow sports, individuals will progress at their own rates. The NHS Freeski team placed third overall during both the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons in the Lakes Region Freeski League.

    Our mission is to provide a safe, fun and exciting team experience for any die-hard skier who wants to improve their skills and ski a lot during the winter season.
