The Women's Varsity Lacrosse Program features young women ready to have fun, compete, and improve each day while holding themselves and each other to a high standard. They form strong connections with their teammates on and off the field that will remain part of their life long after they leave New Hampton School.
The program has won a share of the Lakes Region Championship in eight of the last nine years, including last year's Lakes Region Championship win over St. Paul's School to finish 12-2 in the very competititve Lakes Region League.
Husky alumnae compete at all levels of college lacrosse including Nicole Foringer '17 (Boston University), Asa Goldstock '16 (Syracuse University), Caroline Wenners '16 (Holy Cross), Morgan Barlow '16 (St. Lawrence), Nicki Santora '16 (William Smith), Dempsey Arsenault '15 (Boston College), Gracie Maganzini '15 (Florida Southern), Sidney Swormstedt '15 (UNC), Anna Menke '12 (Princeton University), Erin Moran '12 (Connecticut College), Elizabeth Elcock '12 (St. Joseph's), AnnMarie Fanna '12 (Nichols College) and Kayla DiBari (Holy Cross) ’08.
The program begins its season by participating in a spring break training program which allows us to just focus on our team! We have 3 sessions per day and plan many team bonding activities.
Head Coach Ingrid Knowles, a former standout player and 2x team captain at Bates College, Associate Head Coach Kayla DiBari (who attended New Hampton and then went on to play four years at Holy Cross) and Assistant Coach Callahan Kent (a former standout Goalie at Vanderbilt University), will continue to build the lacrosse program at New Hampton School. Team members are encouraged to put time in to improve outside of the spring season in order to reach their team and individual goals.
Many team members have goals to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Along with our college counseling office, Coach Knowles will help each player connect and communicate with college coaches in order to find the best school and program.
